One Test & One Code - All You Need to Travel to China!

Passengers no need to take other testing and apply for new health code at the transit countries. As long as the validity of the NAT Testing Certificate is still within 48 hours when boarding the final flight directly linked to China.

For people who previously got infected, close contacts, those with suspected symptoms, or showing "uncertain" testing results, etc., no extra prevention and control measures or preliminary application review are required.

Since December 14, Hong Kong SAR has fully lifted the entry quarantine measures. Confirmed COVID-19 infections are given "Red Health Code", while all other non-confirmed cases, including those who have entered from foreign countries, are granted with "Blue Health code" and can participate social activities normally.

At the same time, Hong Kong has canceled the rapid nucleic acid testings at land ports and airports for people going to the Chinese mainland and Macao SAR, passengers just need to hold 48-hour negative nucleic acid testing reports before departure.

From December 17, Macao SAR has further relaxed the entry epidemic prevention measures. People arriving in Macao no longer need to quarantine in hotels, but only need to undergo 5-day home isolation and report the antigen self-testing results for 3 consecutive days (2nd to 4th day after entry) until getting the green health code.

Those with positive testing results will get further home isolation and treatment.

After entering Macao SAR, people cannot travel to the Chinese mainland directly before 24:00 of the 9th day counting from the day following entry.

Zhuhai in Guangdong Province subsequently announced that, from December 20 to December 31, 2022, all persons entering and exiting through the Zhuhai-Macao Port will be required to present 72-hour negative nucleic acid testing certificates.

At present, for inbound travelers from foreign countries, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, "5-day centralized isolation + 3-day home isolation" is still required.

After completing the isolation at the first entry city, relevant personnel do not need to be repeatedly isolated when arriving in destination areas in the country.

On December 7, Mi Feng, a spokesman for the National Health Commission, said that China would gradually make adjustment or cancellation on entry quarantine, but he did not disclose any specific time schedule.

Regarding the wide-spreading saying that China might lift centralized quarantine on January 9 of 2023, it has neither been confirmed by any official yet.
