The operation process of the management information system for the Chinese government scholarship to study in China
Applicants should read the following operation procedures carefully before clicking [Fill Application] to start the scholarship application.
Step 1: Enter the applicant's "personal information". Click [Edit Personal Data] to start entering personal data, complete the entry of personal data item by item, and verify and save. After completing the entry of personal information, click [Finish] to return to the previous interface and start entering personal application information. Applicants must complete the entry of personal data before starting to fill in the application information.
Step 2: Select the correct "Study Abroad Program Type".
Type A of study abroad programs generally refers to scholarship programs that are recruited by institutions other than Chinese universities. In the next step, applicants for such programs must fill in the "accepting institution number" of the corresponding accepting institution (such as the Chinese embassy in a certain country), and the submitted application will be reviewed by the corresponding accepting institution;
Type B of study abroad programs generally refers to the self-enrollment programs of Chinese government scholarship universities. In the next step, applicants for such programs must fill in the "accepting institution number" of the corresponding university, and the submitted application will be reviewed by the corresponding university;
Type C of study abroad programs generally refers to excellent scholarship projects, and the "Accepting Institution Number" of such projects will be specifically stated in the project enrollment notice issued by the China Scholarship Council.
★ The above categories are for reference only. Before filling in the application form, applicants must confirm the "Type of Study Abroad Program" and "Number of Accepting Institution" with the accepting institution. For the introduction of each scholarship program, please refer to
Step 3: Fill in the correct "accepting institution number". "Study abroad project type" and "accepting institution number" are related to each other, and both are required contents in the "Chinese Government Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System". The scholarship acceptance department (or application acceptance department) will inform the recommended applicants of the type of study abroad program and the acceptance institution number.
After the applicant fills in, the system will automatically display the name of the acceptance department represented by the code filled in. There is a corresponding relationship between the type of study abroad program and the number of the accepting institution. If it is filled in incorrectly, the scholarship accepting department will not be able to receive the online application information.
Step 4: Fill in the "Application Information".
For those who choose "Type A Application" and "Type C Application", the applicant can directly enter the "Language Ability and Study Plan" and upload "Supplementary Materials" until clicking [Submit] to complete the application.
If you choose "Type B application", the applicant can submit the application for Type B scholarship by clicking [Add Application], and the applicant must enter "Language Ability and Study Plan" and upload "Supplementary Materials" until clicking [Submit] to complete the application .
Please carefully check the information and supplementary materials before submitting the application to ensure the correctness and authenticity of the information and materials.
When applicants of "Type A application" fill in the study plan, the system will match the colleges and universities that meet the admission requirements according to the "student category and teaching language" selected by the applicant, and the applicant can only choose the "applicant college" and the corresponding college. When applicants of "Type B application" and "Type C application" fill out the study plan, the system will match the majors that can be enrolled in the school according to the "student category and teaching language" selected by the applicant, and the applicant can only choose from them.

Step 5: Once the application is submitted, the applicant will not be able to modify the "personal data" and "application information". Before the application is accepted, the applicant can click [Withdraw] to withdraw the submitted application and make amendments. After the application is withdrawn, the applicant must submit it again after editing, otherwise the application will not be accepted. Once an application has been accepted, the applicant cannot withdraw the application.
Step 6: Click "Print Application" to download the application form.
Step 7: Submit the scholarship application as required by the accepting institution.
The China Scholarship Council has not entrusted any individual or intermediary to accept applications for Chinese government scholarships. Applicants must submit scholarship applications through official acceptance agencies to avoid being deceived. The following is the only official website for the China Scholarship Council to release relevant information about studying in China. Applicants are requested to pay attention to identifying false information.

Remark:
The China Scholarship Council only accepts the applications recommended by the overseas student dispatching departments of various countries and the independent enrollment projects of universities undertaking the Chinese Government Scholarship. The "accepting institution number" is provided by the international student dispatching department and relevant universities in each country. Applications that do not fill in the correct "Accepting Organization Number" will not be accepted.
