Royal experts explain how Prince William’s reign will be much more radical than that of his father or his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince William will be a “very radical monarch” when he becomes king.
This is the widespread opinion among many experts of the British royal family, including Roya Nikkhah, who claims that “the monarchy will appear very different very quickly” when the firstborn of Charles and Camilla ascends the throne.
After an interview much like Prince William’s (the first since the death of Queen Elizabeth II), Nikkhah hinted at two fundamental characteristics that will immediately set the tone for William’s “radical” monarchy and mark a huge difference from the past.

Firstly, William’s passion for fighting man-made climate change will take a step forward even compared to the enthusiasm of his father, King Charles III.
But even more importantly, the second of Prince William’s radical changes will be his coronation: according to royal experts, it will be very different from that of all previous monarchs.
Although there are not many details on the topic yet, we know that the future heir to the throne will not change his title much once he becomes king. Nikkhah explained that William likes to be simply called Prince William, and therefore he will be known simply as King William when he succeeds his father.
“I really want to bring about change, and I want to bring to the table people who can make this change if I am not able to,” said the monarch during the interview.
