Company Background

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is incorporated in the People's Republic of China as a State-owned Enterprise headquartered in Beijing with major construction activities throughout Asia, Middle East and Africa.

CCECC's major lines of business include international construction contracting, design and consulting services, economic and technical co-operation, and trading services. Among these activities, all kinds of construction contracting have been our major undertakings for over 40 years.

The Hong Kong Branch was established in 1988 and, since then, CCECC has been an active participant in the territory's construction industry. Over the decades, Hong Kong's extensive housing and infrastructure development has witnessed increasing commitment: our activities span civil engineering works like portworks, roadworks, drainage and railways, and building construction in both public and private sectors like residential development, offices, depots, hospitals, schools, as well as alteration and renovation works of different scales.

Aspired by the charter of "Equality and Mutual Benefit, Pragmatism, Diversification and Co-development", CCECC has achieved steady growth in the past and will keep pursuing excellency in the future.

It has been awarded the Contract by The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) to rehabilitate the Lusahunga-Rusumo Road Project 92.km.

Therefore in implementing this Project CCECC is looking for qualified candidates to fill various vacancies below.

1. Sociologist 

Skills and Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should hold Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/ Sociology/ Community Development
  • Master’s Degree in Sociology, Community Development, and Social Work is an Added advantage
  • The candidate must have at least ten (10) years’ experience working on social safeguards on donor funded Construction projects.

2. Occupational health and safety expert

Skills and Qualifications

  • The Ideal person must have Bachelor Degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field
  • Must have attended National Occupational Safety and Health Course NOSHC I &II from OSHA
  • Must have not less than 10 ten years working experience where 7 years must be in Construction industry.

3. GBV and SEAH

Skills and Qualifications

The Ideal person must have a Bachelor Degree in Gender/Community Development/Sociology

  • Must be familiar with the WB safeguards tools in Construction Projects project
  • Must have not less than 7 seven years working experience where 5 years must be in Construction industry.
