FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES IN CHINA 🇨🇳

 


1.0  Call for Application

The General Public is hereby informed that the Government of People’s Republic of China has provided full funded scholarships for Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Programs for eligible Tanzanian Candidates in various domains for the academic year 2023/2024. 2.0  Qualification Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a citizen of the United Republic of Tanzania;
  2. Must have completed high school (‘A’ level) and below 25 years if applying for a Bachelor degree program;
  3. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and below 35 years if applying for a Master’s degree program;
  4. Must have a Master’s degree and under the age of 40 if applying for Doctoral degree program;
  5. Must have good academic performance; and
  6. Must be in good health.

3.0  Application Main Requirements 

Applicants are required to submit a certified photocopies of relevant documents listed below:

  1. A completed application form of the Chinese Government Scholarship filled either in Chinese or English;
  2. Certified copies of Certificate for Secondary Education Examination (CSEE), Advance Certificate for Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE), Diploma, Bachelor or Master’s degree. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must have attachments of certified Chinese or English translations;
  3. Academic transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must have attachments of certified Chinese or English translations;
  4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English. (A minimum of 200 words for undergraduates, 500 words for non-degree students, and 800 words for postgraduates);
  5. Two recommendation letters for applicants applying for postgraduate programs written in either Chinese or English from Professors or Associate Professors;
  6. Applicant for art or design related majors must submit own works through  the system and must also provide to the applied universities directly;
  7. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must submit valid HSK reports in accordance with the corresponding Chinese proficiency requirements. Applicants for other language-taught programs shall provide relevant language proficiency certificates according to the universities’ requirements, like IELTS or TOFEL report;
  8. Certified copies of birth certificates;
  9. Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the valid documents of their legal guardians in China;
  10. Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreign Physical Examination form completed in English (the original copy should be kept by the applicant). The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority;
  11. Applicant for masters’ degree, doctoral or general and senior scholars, must have admission documents issued by the applied universities including admission notice, pre-admission letter, invitation from professors; and
  12. Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.

4.0  Documents required for submission

  1. Pre-admission letter from Chinese Government Scholarship universities; and
  2. English language qualification certificate of either HSK, IELTS or TOFEL.

5.0  Specific Instructions to apply

The following are Instructions for online application of the Chinese Government Scholarship information system:

Step 1: Please visit: www.campuschina.org and click ‘Scholarship Application Online for International Students’. Register an account through [CREATE AN ACCOUNT] and login with your account;

Step 2: Input Personal Details. Click “Edit Personal Details” and finish inputting personal details by filling in all the information, verifying and saving the information. After the completion of this section, return to the previous page by clicking “Finish” and start filling in your application information;

Step 3:  Select the correct “Program Category”. Please select Program Category “Type A”;

Step 4: Fill in the correct Program Category and Agency number. The Agency number represents a specific application receiving agency and the correct choice of Program Category is necessary before filling in the Agency number. Please make sure you fill it in correctly, otherwise you will not be able to continue your online application or your application will not be accepted. Your ‘Program Category’ is: Type A and Agency number is: 8341. Once the correct ‘Agency number’ is entered, the name of the agency will automatically emerge;

Step 5: Move on to the section of “Language Proficiency and Study Plan” and upload “Supporting Documents” as requested, then click “Submit” to complete the application. Check each part of your application carefully before submission. Please make sure that all the information and uploaded documents are valid and accurate. Step 6: You can make changes to your application by clicking ‘Withdrawal’ and ‘Edit’ the application on the top of the page. Please make sure to submit it again by clicking ‘Submit’ once you have completed all the changes. Otherwise, the retrieved application will become invalid and your new application will not be received;

Step 7: Click” Print the Application Form” and download the form;

Step 8: Submit scholarship application under the requirements of the dispatching authorities (or application processing agency); and

Step 9: Send the printed application form and other supportive documents to the address below not later than Wednesday 1st February, 2023.

NB: Please use Firefox or internet Explorer 11.0. Application with incorrect Agency Number will automatically disqualify, fill in all application information in Chinese or English.
